Total Health and Exercise, Personal Training Gym is a non-membership private personal training facility. Which provides certified independent trainers a location to train their clients. The facility is a total of 2000sqf with locker rooms, showers, free towel service, and a large selection of new functional training equipment. The fitness trainers are very diverse in their training and knowledge. You can choose from many health and wellness programs from; sports conditioning, weight management, boot camp fitness classes, high intensity circuit training, strength training, general health, and men’s or women's weight loss.

Conveniently located in Englewood at 6979 S. Holly Circle (in the Homestead Park Medical Building). It's close to the South Denver areas of the Denver Tech Center (DTC), Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills Village, Englewood, Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Centennial and Littleton.




Mark Schmukal, NSCA-CPT is a certified personal fitness trainer in the Denver, Colorado area.  He works with people ranging from athletes at the high school, college and professional levels, as well as people who are just looking to improve their overall health and wellness.  Mark, who has been a certified fitness trainer for more than 16 years, will guide you through challenging workouts designed for your goals that are fun, educational, and successful in achieving results.  

Mark combines practical, hands-on training with positive energy and enthusiasm.  Your training will focus on aerobic and anaerobic workouts, accompanied with posture, balance, flexibility, core strength, muscular strength, and dynamic exercises.

Mark served in the U.S. Army for eight years, where he became a master fitness trainer. While in the Army, Mark served as an Infantryman, a Field Artillery Meteorological Crewmember, an M1 Armor Crewman, and as a Cavalry Scout.

At age 18 Mark was certified as a personal trainer by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). He is accredited as a certified personal trainer by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

The NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) certification was developed in 1993 for professionals who work one-on-one with their clients in a variety of environments, including health/fitness clubs, wellness centers, schools and clients' homes. The exam thoroughly tests the knowledge and skills that are necessary to successfully train both active and sedentary physically healthy individuals, as well as individuals with special needs.

For more than 15 years, Mark has trained people ranging from professional athletes to people who simply want to improve their health, including experience with individuals with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Seattle Seahawks, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, the U.S. Army, the Power Team, and the World Wrestling Federation. He has worked in a physical therapy clinic, and served as a manager for 24 Hour Fitness.

Mark reads, takes courses, and attends professional conferences which keep him aware of the most recent strategies and techniques in his field. His special interests include nutrition and physiology.

Mark's personal activities include golf, Tae Kwon Do, weightlifting, motorcycling, surfing, wave running, water skiing, snowboarding, and playing with his dogs,
a
Husky, and a Papillon.
